Some more tips to avoiding foreclosure

 

  • Put together a spending budget and stick to it
  • Find creative ways to save money and share expenses with others
  • Always open all mail sent from your lender.  Don’t put your head in the sand.
  • If you are unsure of where to turn, speak to a counselor or seek legal advice.
  • Speak to other creditors (credit card companies, auto loan companies) to discuss alternative payment options.
